The elegant colonial building of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum stands in the historic center of Ho Chi Minh City. Built during the French colonial period in the late 19th century, the structure reflects classical European architectural influences with its symmetrical façade, decorative pediment and long row of Corinthian columns.
Today the museum presents exhibitions dedicated to the cultural, political and social history of the city once known as Saigon, offering visitors an insight into the transformation of Vietnam’s largest metropolis.
