Alahat Path, Sanakavasa & Kumarata Buddhist Philosophers (Alahat Path) - FANSIPAN

The Alahat Path is a road 800m long located on the way to the Fansipan mountain peak. The path leads to the huge Guanying Statue and Kim Som Bao Thang Pagoda, starting from the giant Buddha statue. Alongside the road there are 18 Buddhist Alahat statues made of bronze. These statues are 2.5 m tall and weigh 500 to 600 kg.

All the path is covered with perennial azalea bushes, some of which may even have survived for centuries. From the middle of December until the end of June, these azaleas blossom and brighten the whole path.
