The War Remnants Museum, located in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), is one of the most significant war museums in Vietnam. Situated at 28 Vo Van Tan Street in District 3, the museum presents powerful exhibits related to the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War, focusing on their human, social, and political impact.

Established by the Vietnamese government on September 9, 1975, the museum initially bore the name “The House for Displaying War Crimes of American Imperialism and the Puppet Government.” In 1990, it was renamed the Museum of American War Crimes, before finally adopting its current name, the War Remnants Museum, on July 4, 1995. Today, the museum attracts around half a million visitors each year and stands as a place of remembrance and reflection within Asia.
